Dr. Azin Taheri is a clinical child psychologist registered with the College of Psychologists of Ontario and Behaviour Analysts. She has over 15 years of experience supporting children, youth, and families. She uses evidence-based strategies while maintaining a warm, playful, and engaging approach—helping children feel safe, understood, and empowered.
Dr. Taheri believes every child has unique strengths. Her goal is to help children build confidence, cope with challenges, and feel good about who they are. She also works closely with parents and caregivers, ensuring families feel supported, heard, and involved every step of the way.

She is a staff psychologist at Holland Bloorview Kids Rehabilitation Hospital, where she provides assessments for autistic children and youth, as well as interventions for children with brain injuries.
Dr. Taheri completed her Master’s and PhD in Clinical Developmental Psychology at York University. Throughout her graduate studies, she was actively involved in autism research. Her work has been presented at multiple international conferences, reflecting her commitment to meaningful contributions in the field.
She received extensive clinical training through doctoral-level placements at the Toronto District School Board, Surrey Place, and the Centre for Addiction and Mental Health (CAMH). She also completed her doctoral psychology residency at Holland Bloorview Kids Rehabilitation Hospital, where she continued her training with autistic children and those with complex medical and developmental needs.
