Comprehensive psychodiagnostic and psychoeducational assessments are provided to better understand each child/youth's unique cognitive, learning, and social emotional profile. Assessments are available to investigate possible diagnoses of intellectual disability, learning disabilities, attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), autism spectrum disorder (ASD), as well as anxiety and mood disorders.
Assessments may involve a range of standardized cognitive and academic testing, completion of standardized questionnaires, semi-structured interviews, as well as unstructured observations. Information is often gathered from various sources (e.g., child, parents, teachers) in order to gain a comprehensive understanding of the child's profile.
Following an assessment, families receive a detailed report summarizing the results, diagnostic considerations, and treatment recommendations. The results from the report are shared with families during a feedback meeting at the end of the assessment.
Note: assessments are conducted in a hybrid model, including both virtual and in-person sessions.
